| Inspired by the book Like Water For Chocolate, this second-story restaurant wears its heart on its sleeve. The pale yellow walls are covered with quotations about food, including, "To table and to bed you need call only once." The food is equally romantic, with a whole section of the menu dedicated to foods like tequila-coated shrimp that are flambéed with a flourish beside your table. Other dishes include chicken in a luscious tamarind sauce. The tables on the balcony overlooking the Alameda, where young couples go to steal a kiss, may also incite passion.... |
